Today, in some ways, is a sad day

My property in Umina Beach settled today and this ends a very positive and beneficial relationship we have had with McGrath's at Ettalong over several years.

We first approached McGrath's after a less than positive experience with another real estate agent in the area, after trying to sell our unit after my mother-in-law, who had been using the property had to move for health reasons.

Our first experience was with Christel Baker who far exceeded the previous agent's performance and, given we live in Perth, kept in constant contact with us as to the sales processes she performed on our behalf.

On one of our trips to Ettalong, we met Helen Hughes who advised us that we would probably need to wait until we had held the property for 10 years before we could recover our costs.  Based on this we put the unit on lease and Amee Pigram from the Ettalong Office handled everything for us, providing us regular professional service and advice when called upon.

Helen recently contacted us (incidentally, coinciding with our tenth year anniversary of holding the property) to advise us that the market conditions were such that we should consider selling  Based on our ongoing checking of the market, her advice appeared correct.

Helen handled this sale for us resulting in the price we wanted, and only a short wait before a buyer emerged.

Helen was so helpful, again, with us living in Perth.  She provided us with prompt, professional advice that we appreciated
